This workshop assists parents, preschool and primary school teachers to help children make a successful transition into "big" school.

Research has shown good communication between pre-school practitioners, the primary school teacher and parents is the key to successful transition.

Based on international and national research this workshop can be delivered to parents, preschool and primary school teachers, showing what can be done to assist children make a successful transition into "big" school. This workshop provides ample practical tips and introduces the participants to the "All About Me" programme.

This is a developmental tool that helps:
  • To build self esteem
  • To identify strengths
  • Listening skills and concentration improve with aural training.
  • To highlight where support/extra help may be needed
