As required by Regulation 5 of the Pre-school Regulations (2006), practitioners are required to carry out developmental observations and Aistear assessments within their early year’s service. This workshop will support practitioners in implementing a framework within their room and setting to integrate both observations and assessments in a practical and effective way.

- What is an assessment
- What is an observation
- How to use both effectively and practically
